Edit
In one sentence
An edit is one change you ask for after the game already exists. "Make the jump shorter" is one edit. A new game from a new sentence is not an edit.
The detail
Pro includes 100 edits in a calendar month. A pack of 50 more stays on the account until those 50 are used. The trial includes 100 as well, and 2 new games rather than the monthly 4.
An edit that describes three unrelated changes will come back with one of them, or with a muddle. One idea at a time is how the build stays close to the request. A build that stops before the change is in the ROM does not spend the edit.
Edits do not reset the month's game count. You still have 4 new games on Pro. Changing level two of a game you already made is the edit. Asking for a different game is a new game.
Worth keeping
- One edit is one change to a game that already exists
- Pro includes 100 edits a month, and a pack of 50 does not expire until you use it
- A failed build does not spend the edit or a game credit
Questions
How many changes can I put in one edit?
One. A list of three wishes is three edits, asked one after another.
Do unused monthly edits roll over?
The 100 included each month do not. A purchased pack of 50 stays until you spend it.
Is a new game an edit?
No. A new sentence that starts a new ROM uses a game, not an edit.
